Kerry's place was perfect for a weekend getaway in Hood Canal. The simple layout was comfortable, clean and private with great views of the surroundings. It was an easy drive to nearby restaurants at Alderbrook Resort and Hoodsport. We had one clear day with amazing mountain views and great hiking in the nearby Olympic National Forest.

We wanted a getaway from Seattle, and this was perfect. We wanted simple and restful. We ordered a charcuterie board from Kerry the day that we arrived, and it was the perfect snack, delicious and in the fridge when we arrived. There was beautiful outdoor seating with 2 Adirondack chairs facing the water, which were located just up a path from the front door and deck. It was well lit in the evenings and felt safe and quiet. The accommodations were clean and tastefully simple, yet cozy, with a beautiful bathroom and shower, plus a fantastic bed and sofa. The linen bedding was a plus. We will absolutely be back

What a great place to stay on Hood Canal! We were already in the area and booked this very last minute. We were so glad for Kerry to be accommodating. This place does not disappoint. Great location and close to lots of things to do. Also a wonderful view! The place was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend if you are in the Hood Canal area.

This was a beautiful location, well equipped, clean, modern and just as the pictures portray it. We enjoyed waking up and going to bed to that gorgeous view! We didn’t take advantage of tourist suggestions as our time was scheduled with a family reunion. But I’m sure Kerry would be very responsive with suggestions. Easy walk to Hoodsport and a short drive to Lake Cushman. Note: there is an active property across the creek, so it’s a bit less private than expected. Overall, we’d definitely recommend.

Excellent quick stay. Great location. Had a slight hiccup during check-in as the automated check-in instructions didn't send since we booked within 24 hours of the stay, but that was likely an Airbnb problem---not the host. Regardless, Kerry was instantly able to answer the phone and got us checked into the unit without any issues. Excellent communication! Five stars.
