The name TRAVELER refers to a natural phenomenon, a figure of a Traveler with a walking staff making his way across Mt. Washington with its community at heart. It is actually a rock formation that is visible only for a few months every year, and most notably from UNION, WA. The Traveler appears when just the right amount of snow has melted and disappears as summer approaches.
Our logo proudly includes the Traveler and he is ready to EXPLORE Hood Canal, offering only the best of lodging, local food, beverage, specialty services, activities, recreation, shopping, art and music. To us, the Traveler evokes inspiration, beauty and remembrance.

This place exceeded our expectations! Initially we were unsure whether the house would be in a neighborhood-type development, but in reality the location is very private and secluded. Its more like a quiet country home! We loved the roomy layout of the house, deck, and yard. Great for our group of 5 people. But our dog loved it the most! The large fenced yard was great. He was basically in heaven the whole time.
Beautiful clean home with a fenced in back yard and private driveway. The garage was a bonus! Well equipped kitchen and open floor plan made the house great for cooking and spending time with our friends. Kerry was superbly responsive, concise while providing great information, and helped make our trip worry free. Great stay all around.
Every part of our stay was seamless, Kerry proactively thought about our needs. The home was beautiful, comfortable and with our dogs in tow, we had a beautiful space for them in her yard. She truly thought of everything so that we could relax and enjoy time with family. The location was perfect, beautiful treed property, private and yet so close to quaint stores with good food and gifts, hiking and ocean. It was the perfect getaway to recharge and connect with nature and family. Highly recommend!!!! Thanks Kerry.
this is our 2nd time staying at this property and it was once again a wonderful stay for my family! lots of fun activities for the kids, books, and quiet surroundings. the beds comfortable and the sofas a super cozy! would love to come back here again. thank you!
